A BrownstoneJAZZ WEEKEND event featuring intimate acoustic live performances on Fridays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, and Sundays at 4pm or 6pm. The venue is a restored 19th Century Victorian Brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Central Brooklyna landmarked historical community where visitors feel transported to an earlier era upon entering the doors. BrownstoneJAZZ ensembles present the finest jazz from yesteryears soldiers and todays frontier musicians, swinging with authentic style for all audiences. Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and SugarHill in Harlem were both major jazz hubs; when Ella Fitzgerald wrote Take The A Train connecting these two centers. BrownstoneJAZZ invites guests to experience music through Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemons, who guide you into this old-school venue for a unique jazz encounter. Tickets are limitedpurchase early as the event sells out quickly. Dress code is encouraged: casual-classy, cocktail attire, or vintage styles are welcome; jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and hoodies should be left outside. No athletic wear, tank tops, or t-shirts inside the room. ID is required for entry. Pets are not allowed. Shopping bags or backpacks are prohibited in the venue. Refunds are not granted under any circumstances.
