About the Event

BrownstoneJAZZ WEEKEND offers an intimate acoustic experience featuring live performances on Fridays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, and Sundays at 4pm or 6pm. Set within a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, central Brooklyna landmarked historic communitythis venue transports guests to an earlier era through its preserved architecture. BrownstoneJAZZ ensembles showcase both classic jazz legends from the past and contemporary frontier musicians who swing with authentic style, offering something for every listener. Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and Sugar Hill in Harlem were once major jazz hubs; when Ella Fitzgerald sang TAKE THE A TRAIN linking these two communities, she captured their musical spirit. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemons guide guests through this historic space to discover a unique jazz atmosphere. Tickets are limited for this private event. Both Eric and Debbie have extensive experience in the music industry, having presented major artists over many years. For a short time only, tables and seating are scarcepurchase early as they sell out quickly. Dress code: dress to impress; casual-classy attire or vintage style is encouraged.
