About the Event
BrownstoneJAZZ FEST offers an intimate acoustic experience in a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone within Bedford-Stuyvesants historic central Brooklyn community, transporting attendees back to earlier times as they enter. BrownstoneJAZZ Ensambles showcase the finest jazz from past eras and contemporary innovators, with musicians performing authentic swinging styles appealing to all audiences. Both Bed Stuy and SugarHill in Harlem were once major jazz hubs; when Ella Fitzgerald sang TAKE THE A TRAIN linking New York Citys two jazz centers, you are now invited into this musical magic hosted by Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemons, who have years of experience presenting major artists. For a limited time, secure early access to our private event as tables and seats are scarce. DRESS TO IMPRESSno athletic wear, tank tops, or t-shirts allowed inside the room (non-refundable). JAZZ EVENTS ARE ARRANGED @VENUE. NO pets, smoking, or vapors; no shopping bags or backpacks permitted due to limited space. BYOB (bring your own brown bag) is encouraged. As a private venue, we reserve the right to be selective about guests.
