BrownstoneJAZZ WEEKEND offers an intimate acoustic experience of live performances in restored 19th century Victorian architecture within Bedford Stuyvesant's historic community center. The venue transports visitors back to earlier eras while showcasing both classic jazz legends and contemporary musicians performing with authentic swing styles suitable for all audiences. As Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and SugarHill, Harlem were once major jazz hubs when Ella Fitzgerald sang TAKE THE A TRAIN connecting these two musical centers, BrownstoneJAZZ invites guests to discover this vintage music venue through Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., Bassist Eric Lemons.
