About the Event

BrownstoneJAZZ FEST offers an intimate acoustic experience in a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone within Bedford-Stuyvesants central Brooklyn landmarked community, transporting guests back to earlier times as they enter. BrownstoneJAZZ Ensambles present the finest of yesteryear jazz legends and todays jazz frontiermusicians swinging with authentic style for all audiences to enjoy. Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, and SugarHill, Harlem were both major jazz communities when Ella Fitzgerald wrote Take The A Train connecting New York Citys two jazz hubs. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemons host guests as they discover this old-school jazz venue for a unique musical experience; both have decades of music industry involvement presenting major artists with extensive credentials. For a limited time, secure early access to our private eventtables and seats are limited. Dress impressively: no athletic wear, tank tops, or t-shirts allowed inside the room (no refunds). Jazz events arranged at venue only. No pets, smoking, or vapors permitted. Shopping bags or backpacks prohibited in the room due to limited space. Bring your own brown bag for food and drink. As a private establishment, we reserve the right to be selective about guests.
