About the Event

BrownstoneJAZZ WEEKEND offers an intimate acoustic experience of live performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, plus Sundays at 4pm or 6pm. Immerse yourself in the authentic jazz style performed by both classic era musicians and contemporary artists, creating a unique atmosphere for all audiences to enjoy. This historic venue is situated within Bedford Stuyvesant's central Brooklyn neighborhood, which holds historical significance as a landmark community. Upon entering through its doors, visitors are transported back to an earlier time period. BrownstoneJAZZ Ensembles showcase the finest jazz performances from past decades and modern innovators. The event takes place in SugarHill, Harlem, and Bedford Stuyvesant, both of which were once vibrant jazz communities. When Ella Fitzgerald sang TAKE THE A TRAIN, she connected New York City's two major jazz hubs. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., Bassist Eric Lemons guide guests through this vintage venue to experience a distinct musical atmosphere. Tickets are available for purchase at the event. For a limited time only: table and seating options are restricted. Early reservations are recommended as availability fills quickly. DRESS CODE: Dress to impress, reflecting the Jazz Age era. Casual yet classy attire is welcomed, including cocktail or vintage styles. Leave jeans, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, athletic wear, tank tops, shopping bags, backpacks, and pets outside the venue. ID is required for entry. No refunds are issued under any circumstances.
