THE TIM RAY TRIO Plus Special Guest EDMAR COLON

Tim Ray is widely recognized as Tony Bennett's current pianist and musical director, having accompanied him in live performances until Bennett retired from singing in 2020. He has appeared on more than one hundred recordings and has performed concerts alongside numerous pop music legends such as Lyle Lovett, Jane Siberry, and Soul Asylum. Ray frequently collaborates with prominent jazz musicians including Kurt Elling, Gary Burton, Esperanza Spalding, Phil Woods, Terri Lyne Carrington, Scott Hamilton, John Patitucci, Brian Blade, Lewis Nash, and Rufus Reid. This concert will include his long-time trio with bassist John Lockwood (Fire) and the accomplished young Puerto Rican saxophonist/composer Edmar Colon, who has established a reputation through his own group and performances/recordings with Terri Lyne Carrington, Danilo Prez, John Patitucci, Esperanza Spalding, and Dianne Reeves among others. All general admission sections (Main Floor GA and Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be assigned by the host on a first-come, first-served basis except where reserved signs are posted at tables.
