Southside native Rick King brings his drumming experience from touring with KoKo Taylor, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, B.B. King and other global acts to this performance. As a founding member of Lubriphonic, he produced five records for the funk-soul-jam band before stepping forward as vocalist and percussionist. His seven-piece ensemble features horns and delivers soul music with influences from Chicago Blues, Memphis Soul, New Orleans Funk and Kingston Reggae. The event includes $5 Revolution Brewery Pints and dinner options at BabyGold Barbecue or full-service dining inside the club when doors open. Limited street parking is available; rideshare, bicycle or rickshaw are recommended for arriving guests.
