THE MOTH STORY SLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition where anyone can share a true, personal five-minute story on the night's theme. Sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show! Tonight's theme is THIN ICEprepare a five-minute story about big risks, sneaky sidesteps, and treading lightly. The time you found yourself in territory so treacherous that one wrong move might crack the whole surface. Flirting with catastrophe, the texts you shouldn't have sent, the secret you let slip, the gamble that cost you everything. Did you narrowly miss disaster, or did you plunge right through? Doors open at 6 PM. Show starts at 7 PM. Tickets for Chicago StorySLAM go on sale three weeks prior to the show date at 3 PM ET. Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least ten minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final. As many as ten tickets may be available at the door for all of our StorySLAMs on a first-come, first-served basis. Grab dinner before the show at BabyGold Barbecue or enjoy full service dining inside the club when doors open.
