Chicago singer-songwriter Naomi Ashley brings her cream-voiced, Kahlua-infused style to FitzGeralds Songwriter Circle, where she weaves Americana, country, folk, blues and rock into lyrically layered songs that blend humor with deep human insight. Her six albums and three singlesincluding the Showtime series Work in Progress title track Trying to Flyreflect a career marked by multiple grants from the City of Chicago and Illinois Arts Council, plus her 2024 release Love Bug sponsored by DCASE. Originally from Northwest Iowa, Ashley honed her craft at FitzGeralds open mic before becoming one of Chicagos most connected performers over two decades in its music scene.
