Aerospace engineer Tracy Drain leads robotic spacecraft missions at NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory, developing and operating complex systems that probe our solar system and beyond. Her work includes rovers on Mars, a mission to Jupiter, and exoplanet searches that transformed our understanding of the galaxy. With over two decades in flight systems engineering, she earned her degrees from the University of Kentucky and Georgia Tech before joining JPL in 2000 after an internship at NASA Langley Research Center as an undergraduate student.
