The Poem of the Journey

A landmark Iranian film from the 1970s, featuring Googoosh and Behrouz Vossoughitwo of Irans most celebrated pre-revolutionary cinema starsis now being shown in Toronto. The screening includes She?r-e Safar (The Poem of the Journey), which reunites these two legendary performers while offering exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, personal recollections from their production on Hamsafar, and reflections on their artistic careers and earlier works. Directed by Raha Etemadi, the event will feature both Googoosh and Behrouz Vossoughi in attendance and conclude with a question-and-answer session for the audience.
