Shod is the ancient Japanese art of brush calligraphy that unites mindful motion, flowing ink, and deliberate strokes to turn written characters into living expression. Beyond mere writing technique, Shod serves as a meditative discipline cultivating focus, tranquility, and presence. This session is instructed by Manaha, an experienced practitioner who teaches participants the essentials of brush control, stroke sequence, and more. Designed for novices, returning students, and children alike, this gathering provides a welcoming space to slow down, align with your breath, and encounter the grace and lucidity of Shod within a relaxed, supportive setting.
