About the Event
Performances occur on grassy ground; attendees should bring their own blankets as seating is not supplied. Doors open one hour before the show begins. Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly, and Mr Toad lead Kenneth Grahames classic tale of river life to live action. This highly praised outdoor theatre event features music, songs, and comedy. Both children and adults enjoy it as the Head Chief Rabbit turns everyone into rabbits with an ear waggle and nose wiggle. Young rabbits are invited to participate in the story and can shout, sing along, and join the adventure. Laughs and surprises await both kids and grown-ups, making this interactive theatre experience exceptional. After more than 35 years at Melbournes Royal Botanic Gardens and 20 years in Sydneys Royal Botanic Garden, The Wind in the Willows remains Australias most beloved affordable family entertainment.
