About the Event

The production introduces Sir Toby Belch, credited with inventing the art of partying; Sir Andrew Aguecheek, a foolish man without wit or substance; Malvolio, an ambitious puritan whose moral standing collapses when manipulated by Sir Toby; and Maria, the maid who cleverly tricks Malvolio while training Sir Toby in household management. Viola arrives as a shipwrecked woman disguised as a young man to seek employment, Olivia is the sorrowful noblewoman who turns down one suitor before falling for another in disguise, and Orsino is the Duke consumed by love whose feelings shift when truth and identity clash.
