The gates open two hours before the performance begins. Acts are performed on an outdoor lawn. Attendees should bring their own blankets as seating is not supplied. The show celebrates some of Shakespeare's funniest characters. Following "The Mechanicals" from A Midsummer Night's Dream, this production takes them on a chaotic journey where pantaloons meet Python in Peter Quince Presents: SHAKESPEARE'S BEST BITS. It is a lively romp that will have audiences laughing as the Bard's comedic artisansPeter Quince, Snug, Nick Bottom, Francis Flute, Tom Snout and Robin Starvelingguide viewers through a series of slapstick errors and absurdity. In competition to perform at the Duke's wedding, they consult Bill's collected works for guidance. These foolish performers will have audiences rolling on the ground with laughter as they rehearse some of Shakespeare's most celebrated material.
