About the Event
A two-hour-and-thirty-minute production featuring language and themes that may challenge or offend audiences; recommended for viewers aged fourteen and older. The acclaimed musical SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER arrives at the Athenaeum Theatre, celebrating the 1970s disco era with hits from The Bee Gees including Stayin Alive, Night Fever, More Than A Woman, and How Deep Is Your Love. Directed by Drew Anthony and choreographed by Jamie Rolton and Suzi Rolton, this reimagined version of the award-winning musical brings explosive energy, spectacular dance numbers, and powerful vocal performances to life with its disco soundtrack. Based on the 1977 film starring John Travolta, the story follows Tony Manero as he strives to break free from conformity and become king of the club.
