Supported by Box Hill Institute, this session explores 3D software that empowers designers to virtually test a garment's drape, stretch and fit before it's ever physically made. At the centre of this process is the virtual twin: a highly realistic digital simulation of a garment worn on a virtual model. The result? A more precise, sustainable and data-driven design process that helps reduce overproduction and environmental impact. STEM for the win!
